During this educational internship you will get acquainted with all facets of the hotel industry and the conference world. In the first week you will get to know all the departments to get a good idea of the company. After that you will be well trained in the department by the 5 full-time colleagues. After the training period you will be guided to work increasingly independently. As an Event & Duty Manager, you are the contact person for conferences in the hotel. You will deal with the preparations that are required for a conference and you will eventually evaluate with the contact persons of the conference.
Main tasks
• Maintaining contacts with conference organizers
• Evaluates during and after the meeting with organizers / contact persons and ensures satisfactory handling of changes, wishes and complaints
• Switches with managers of various departments regarding the changes / feedback.
• Replaces the Hotel Director in case of absence
• Supervises the quality of services and the productive deployment of personnel
• Motivate, stimulate, guide and train employees “on the job”
• Knows the NH and Hotel Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensures that people work in accordance with these SOPs. Adjusts the hotel SOPs if necessary to achieve the highest possible level of service.

An internship allowance of € 500 per month
